What keeps me busy.. :)

So it is.. I have a lot of work to do today.. and suddenly there is this disturbing urge to eat biriyani.
Thanks to Roshith and his picturesque description of his visit to Hyderabadi Biriyani in Bangalore. I hate him. :(

Messaged Ketan to ask him if he would come along tonight for a biriyani treat. He has so far expressed a decent amount of interest, but I am not sure.
Kinshuk is coming late from office tonight. (Or so I think. Unless he has really given in to my hue & cry on phone just now!)
Dad wont go, coz he wont drive in the night.. and Mom wont go coz dad wont go.

Oh man! talk about dependencies and complications.

I have to eat biriyani, and that is it.

And no!
Please dont ask me to cook it. Thats mom's ever-ready solution to all my food-related problems. Cook it yourself.

Ok, let me change the topic, so that I could save my little mind from the greedy desires that're clawing in.

So whats keeping me busy?

The office, the travelling, and AOL.
Gurgaon office is nice.. except the ever ogling north indian boys! Incidentally, the day I came to this office, the floor, where I got a seat, was vacated.
So there are just 2-3 vague people sitting in different corners on my floor.. and the office looks like my private villa... . with a private bathroom.. and a private coffee shop.. lol..

Life is great! :)

Happy Birthday to Guruji!!! :)
It was His birthday yesterday.. and I baked a cake.. It was a muffin bake actually.. banana pecans(replaced by walnuts) cake.. a no sugar, no eggs cake.. got the recipe from here ! :)

turned out ok.. atleast kinshuk and me liked it! :) dad hated it, and mom was in a contemplative state till end, thinking if it might get better after it cooled down a bit! lol..
I enjoyed baking it.. and thats what matters at the end.. :)

went for satsang in the evening, after hurriedly finishing my conf call.. mom and me had to walk our way through, coz dad refused to drive us down.. lol.. he likes to water the plants in the garden more than us, I guess! :)

kinshuk and me kept talking late night.. about so many things.. and slept off with the usual 'should-we-turn-off-the-AC-or-not' dilemma! :D

I like my days!! They are so busy... and I am always looking fwd to going back home.. and then looking fwd to come to office again.. and then looking fwd for weekends,,. I can feel so much thrill, God knows why! :)

I just love my life! :) Every moment is so beautiful.. :)


There was a major thunderstorm today morning.. followed by rains :) Had it been Bangalore, I could have tken a chance of walking down home and getting drenched on the way..
In here, my office is located on a Highway.. and there's no chance I cud do that! I wish it rains in the evening.. and I can get wet!!!

Last week, I decided to give myself a gift :)
And click click click; I ordered a Lara Croft Tomb Raider CD from ebay! :) Yippee! Have I disclosed as yet, how much I love that game?!
Back home a few years back, I was addited to it. I used to play it for 14-15 hours a day! Not eating, not sleeping, not doing anything else but trying to find the ways in the game. It was definitely fun! :)

Yesterday, when the courier boy handed me the packet, it was last when my folks saw me ;)

I involved Kinshuk too in the vicious game. We were at it till 1 in the night.. and then had to force ourselves to sleep and not bother about the lost key!! lol..
And today, I cant wait to get back home so that I could play it again..

My new cellphone wallpaper has Lara Croft looking on at a distant object..My new orkut profile pic has Lara Croft holding on guns and looking back.

I think I am obsessed.
