awww.. farewells always make me senti.. :(
I had such an awesome farewell party today.. with my whole big department.. and a senti speech in the end by my manager..
i really wasnt prepared for that.. and i almost felt like crying! :( they gave me a sweet little gift.. and i had to stand up and say a few words..
i didnt really know i had to do something like that.. stand up infront of 20 people and make a speech.. and be politically correct :D
and then i started talking.. and words kept coming.. and i just kept talking what i felt..
i took a breath after a sentence.. and i cud feel myself getting carried away... and so i decided to stop :(
how all the time just flew past by.. and boom! its time to go back!

isnt it funny.. how all the situations in life come coupled with some bit of irony ..
i am excited to go back.. and meet up with kinshuk.. and go home,, and haev lots of new things to do in bangalore.. and at the same time.. i am leaving a certain something back here..
how soon people become significant in your life..and how soon they go away....

Made in India!

This morning, when I woke up, for some reason, I found myself humming this really really old song - called 'made in india' by alisha chenoy!!
Actually it happens very often.. that I wake up with a tune in my head! :D
I havent even heard this song, ever since Alisha stopped making albums of her own!
so here I am brushing my teeth and humming it.... taking a shower and humming it... getting ready and humming it.. making lunch.. and then err.. stop! lets download it first!!
so i download it.. and then start listening to it.. while making lunch!!
its actually quite a cool song! i remember its video.. in which alisha is sitting like a queen somewehre.. and they bring one hunk packed in a box, and the box says - made in india! hehe..

Its Valentine's Day!!! :)

So!! Its Valentine's Day yet again! :) Yet again, the shopping areas and gift shops are flooding with people buying gifts n cards n chocolates for their significant others.. and there are valentine's day specials everywhere -- on TV, on websites, on news channels, on roads, in restaurants.. phew! everywhere!! :)

and yet again, i am not with him...:(

i hate some of these websites. they make sure that they throw the most sentimental dialogues blinking in red and blue as soon as you open their page..
"When you can't be there, make sure the flowers are.. "
I mean, what the heck. I was almost getting carried away, when the logical me took over. hehe.. :D

But hey, whatever it is, I am still excited that its Valentine's Day!! and that I am going to wear my pretty red dress today.. and that I am going to cook his favourite dinner.. and that I am going to send a huuuuuuuuuuge bouquet of red roses to him and that i am going to write the most romantic email to him! :)

after all, wherever you are, whatever you're doing..life is all about doing it in 'style' ..!!! :)
